It started with a call.

We jumped on a call with Brad. He was gearing up for a major campaign around AI Autocomplete’s Shopify integration, and the video was still missing.

We had four days to take it from zero to ready. That meant finding the story, developing the creative, getting everyone aligned, and producing the animation while the launch deadline kept getting closer.

We took it on.

02

First, five questions.

Before we could make anything move, we needed to know exactly what the video had to do.

Those answers gave us something concrete to build around: show merchants what changes for their shoppers, then show how easily they can add it to their store.

  1. What’s the goal?

Get Shopify merchants to discover and install AI Autocomplete.

  2. What are we showcasing?

Its Shopify integration, available through the App Store with a one-click install.

  3. What matters most?

Showing how it guides shoppers as they type, helping them narrow their search toward the products they want.

  4. Who are we talking to?

    Shopify store owners.

  5. What absolutely has to be there?

A beautiful product animation that makes the search experience easy to understand.

The product interaction: narrowing a search through guided choices.
03

Two ways into the story.

We came back with two creative directions. One used a playful visual hook to make the frustration of online shopping immediately recognisable. The other took a more direct, comparison-led approach to the product.

Both worked toward the same goal: make the value of guided search visible. The client’s video references gave us a tangible starting point for discussing pacing, animation style and polish.

Brad had something tangible to react to, and we could make the next decision quickly.

04

Green light. Straight into the storyboard.

Once the direction was approved, we tightened the script and moved straight into the storyboard.

This was where the idea became a sequence everyone could see: how the opening would pull people in, where the product would take over, and how the story would arrive at the install.

Getting that sequence clear gave us a shared picture of the film before animation began. We sent the storyboard over. Feedback was minimal, and we kept moving.

Five music options. One approaching deadline.

With the visual direction in place, we sent over five music options to settle the tone and energy of the film.

By then, the schedule was tight. Every decision fed directly into the next stage of production. The team brought the storyboard into motion, working through the product interactions, transitions and details that would make the whole piece feel finished.

There were late nights. There was also a clear brief and an approved direction to keep everyone moving toward the same result.

V1 out. Feedback in. Final refinements.

We sent the first version to Brad, got quick feedback, and went back in for the final adjustments.

And just like that, we had the video. Four days earlier, it was the missing piece of the campaign. Now it was ready to go.

V1 / A collage of storefronts opens the film.
Final / The opening puts the search interface first.

Opening refinement: the final cut shifts attention from a collage of storefronts to the search experience itself.

A short deadline needs a clear process.

This project brought together the things we rely on at WizArt: clear questions at the start, focused creative options, fast feedback, and a team that can carry an idea through to the final frame.

Brad’s quick decisions helped keep the work moving. Our team put in the hours and the care to get it over the line.

The result was a finished launch video, delivered in four days, with the product and its Shopify integration at the centre of the story.
